As I write a post on motivation and how it developed over time, I find myself concerned that I will forget where I came from. That I will forget how I felt before I started training, the pain during training, the baby steps, and the joy I felt along the way.
As I look toward becoming a personal and athletic trainer, I feel that my experience is what differentiates me from other trainers. I have yet to meet another personal trainer that truly knows what it is like to take the journey I took because most trainers have been athletic all their lives. They do not know what it feels like to go through metabollic changes, painful workouts and dietary changes.
As I look toward 2010, I will keep my 2009 workout log very close.
